Refund Policy
Last updated: [FILL IN DATE]
This Refund Policy applies to paid subscriptions to Groager, provided by [FILL IN LEGAL ENTITY NAME]. All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, who acts as the Merchant of Record and reseller for your subscription. Refunds, where approved, are issued back through Paddle to your original payment method.
1. Subscription Cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
- Cancelling stops future renewal charges. Unless a refund is separately approved under this policy, your access continues until the end of the billing period you've already paid for — we do not automatically prorate a refund for the unused portion of a cancelled period.
- After your access period ends, your account reverts to the free tier (where available) or is restricted, depending on the plan; your data is retained per our Privacy Policy, not deleted immediately upon downgrade.
2. Refund Eligibility
[FILL IN YOUR ACTUAL REFUND WINDOW — the draft below assumes a 14-day window; adjust to match your real policy before publishing.]
- First-time subscribers: if you are dissatisfied with a first paid subscription purchase, you may request a full refund within 14 days of the initial charge, no questions asked.
- Subsequent renewal charges: renewal charges (i.e. not your first purchase) are generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable consumer protection law, or where the renewal was clearly accidental (e.g. you cancelled before renewal but were charged due to a processing error) — contact us and we will investigate in good faith.
- Service issues: if the Service was unavailable to you for a significant portion of a billing period due to an issue on our side, contact us — we will review on a case-by-case basis and may issue a partial or full refund or service credit at our discretion.
- Not eligible: refunds are not available simply because you did not use the Service during a paid period, or after the eligibility window above has passed, except where required by applicable law in your jurisdiction.
3. How to Request a Refund
Email digitekentails@gmail.com with your account email and the reason for your request. Because Paddle is the merchant of record, you may also be able to request a refund directly through Paddle's own support channels, referencing your order/receipt from Paddle. We will respond to refund requests within a reasonable time, generally within [FILL IN, e.g. 5 business days].
4. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds are issued by Paddle back to your original payment method.
- Processing times depend on your card issuer or payment method and are outside our direct control — typically [FILL IN, e.g. 5–10 business days] after Paddle processes the refund.
- Refunds are issued in the currency and amount originally charged, less any portion (if applicable) already consumed under the “Service issues” provision above.
5. Proration
We do not currently offer automatic proration for mid-cycle plan downgrades or cancellations — access continues for the period already paid for. If you upgrade mid-cycle, [FILL IN: describe actual upgrade-proration behavior once billing is implemented — e.g. whether Paddle prorates the difference automatically].
6. Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please contact us first at digitekentails@gmail.com so we can resolve it directly — filing a chargeback with your bank without contacting us first may result in immediate suspension of your account while the dispute is investigated.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes apply prospectively to purchases made after the update; they do not retroactively change the terms of a purchase you already made.
